Have you located one as yet? If not, I'll look to see if I have an extra. If so, it will have some pits in the chrome.

I am restoring this car, and need to have the Dynaflow rebuilt. Any information about qualified shops to do this job would be appreciated. I live in Arkansas, but don't mind going out of state for an experienced mechanic.
Thanks

Hello,
I need to have my 56R Dynaflow transmission rebuilt. I'm assuming that I'm better having someone work on it that knows them. Any suggestions of a good shop in the south? I live in Arkansas.
Thanks,
Bill

What is the best source for aftermarket door sills? I need a set for a '53 Buick Super 2 door (56R). I see that Cars, Inc. has them, but wanted to know if anyone has other sources. Thanks.

I'm attempting to remove the pitman arm from my '53 Buick Super. Regular gear pullers won't get it. Is there a modern day puller that works? Thanks,

This Ebay auction shows the tubes that are flattened on both ends. I bought tubes from a guy that were also supposed to be for a '53 56R that are round on the end that goes to the A/C and flattened on the end going to the roof. Anyone know which is for my 53 '56R? Also, does anyone have a '53 56R w/ air that I could get some pictures from? Thanks

For those who have purchased replacement pans, who has the best fitting, and quality? Thanks.

I am looking for the A/C switches for a '53 56R. They sort of wrap around the steering column. Does your '54 have the same type, and if so are they for sale? Thanks.

Can you send a picture to zandrajo@cox-internet.com. thanks

Thanks Mr Buick 714. Would you happen to have a picture of your '53 showing the postion of the A/C scoops near the trunk? I have the scoops but not real sure where to put them. Thanks for looking for the pulley. Here is my email incase you would rather. zandrajo@cox-internet.com

Mr Buick 714,
I want to put an aftermarket compressor on my '53 Super I am restoring. Would your cast pulley be useful to me? Also, have considered going all original on the A/C, but am concerned about parts and reliability. Anyone have thoughts on that?
Thanks

There is an ongoing EBAY auction for a pair of NOS Rocker Trim Pieces for '53 4 door Super and Roadmaster. Also fits '52 I believe. Link below:
Question about newly rebuilt '53 Super 322 V-8

I am assembling the engine from my '53 Buick Super. Had it machined, and am installing new pistons/rings/ bearings/etc.
I'm using Lubriplate 105 as the assembly lube. After assembly, I'm sure the engine will sit for a couple of years while I work on the car's body, etc. Question is, should I prime the engine oil system before laying it up, or wait to just before I start it to prime it? Thanks.
