Tried mailing George on www.Customhubpullers.com to get a puller made for my 1928 Durant with wooden wheels. It looks like the site is down and I saw a thread he was in ill health.
Does anyone have one to sell/lend or rent. Any help is much appreciated. Tried to make one but failed.

Durant wood wheel hub puller

Read lots about the man to talk to is George McMurtry. Sadly as with many he is no longer with us.
Restoring my 1928 Durant and struggling to get the rear wheels off. I believe they may of been on for 50 years and not removed.
I think it is a cone end on the driveshaft, have made a puller that spreads across 3 wooden spokes on two sides of the wheel and a bar that connects across the driveshaft, put a lot of load on it and cant remove the wheel, I have heated the hub at the same time but its not moving.
Any ideas will be appreciated.
May need to get a puller made that screws onto the wheel hub and has a reaction bolt through the centre to the driveshaft.
Any ideas or a puller to buy/hire will be greatly appreciated
