    Olsens gaskets in the US can do gasket sets, I believe distributor caps and points are available and people in the relevant clubs have reproduced some parts for these.

    My car that uses that engine has a vacuum fuel system and not a pump. I think someone has reproduced water pump impellers.

    They are rusty and may break but you need to eventually replace them when you install replacement 

    strap.   I do not know if someone sells the replacement strap but have heard of owners using strips 

    from a conveyor belt. 

    Thanks for the info, it certainly doesn't seem complicated but I saw it as very tense and I was wondering if removing the straps would make it difficult for me to put the lever that comes from that "shock absorber" back into place.

  3. Hi every body, im Ruben from spain and im restorating a pontiac 33 that it comes with a hupmobil engine. The engine runs but i would like to change some parts like water pump or fuel pump. where i can get does pieces and some books about this engine??

  4. looks like mine that engine Bloo. thanks for the info i was finding some books from pontiacs engines and now i will change on Hupmobile Century Six. 

     

    Here there is more pictures from it.

     

    Another question, where i can find the "chasis number" i see the engine number on the cilinder section but the car not.

  5. Hi roscoe, sorry im not writing for your fuel pump, but i dont know if my engine car is from 1928 or late. Can you show me a picture from your engine?? there is not a place to buy new parts like that??

  6. Hi everybody my name is Ruben and im from Mallorca - Spain. I just get a pontiac that the papers sais is from 1928 but all the pictures that i see looks like from 1933. Is more or less dificult to get info in europe, and in spain imposible. I entry in google unknown and i see you forum.

    Can you tell me where i can get info about this engine? i need to start buying parts like waterpump, or petrolpump, exhaust, etc and i need to know the model, year, etc. Thank in advance. Also where do you buy parts??
