[Thom Petersen - auto artist]

I just found out yesterday that a very talented artist passed away from cancer. Thomas "Thom" Petersen passed away June 30, 2023. I remember seeing Thom at the Iola Car show in Iola Wisconsin. I even had him come to my house and had him do a painting of my car years ago!  

He will be missed.  Thom was 77, from Racine, Wisconsin. I have posted some of his works, including my car! '48 Olds 68

[1948 DeSoto Philco radio. Is Bluetooth possible?]

I recently sent my radio to Gary Tayman in Sarasota Florida. He rebuilds the radio, Now I can do Am,Fm, Usb, and Bluetooth. My car is 6 volt, Gary put a votlage converter, 6 to 12 volt. The Aurora card needs 12 volt. You send your radio to him. Turn around time was 3-4 weeks. Gary advertises in all the auto magazines like Hemmings.

I currently own a 1948 Oldsmobile Series #68 Club Sedan. I had work done on the front end of the car by my mechanic. Now I need to get the car alingned. Does anyone have specs that I can give to the Firestone Store willing to do the alignment!
