Hi all. First time poster here. I'm doing genealogy on my family and have a photo showing the trunk of an auto. Just as a lark I decided to ID the car. That hasn't gone so well and now it's reached the point that I'm turning to the experts.
About all I can tell you is what you see in the image. A 1938 Texas plate, single rear window, and what is that center-mounted vertical bumper piece? Would the trunk even open past it?

Thank you! Now that you point out the bowtie I see it. Before, it looked like part of a face. Still wondering about that vertical bumper rail though.
