I had a shipment of car parts that were delivered to an auto body shop about 10 miles from my house, (yes my name, address and phone number were clearly listed on the label).  The guys at the auto body shop were expecting a shipment so they opened up the box and saw old car parts, then they called me and I came and picked up my parts.

Your friend should call the parcel post company and have them check other deliveries the driver made that day.  Somehow the delivery driver made a mistake and dropped off the parts with some other customer.

In case the parts are not found, 1926 Buick master headlights are common, and there are several on e-bay right now. The lights priced at $500 are no better than those priced around $100.   I have a pair with 10 3/4" diameter bezel I believe is Master. Mine are missing lenses, correct reflectors and wiring sockets.

Did the plating company have the headlight buckets, bezels and reflectors ? Were these parts for a Master Sport model with nickeled headlight buckets ?

If the bucket is to be plated, it must be a near perfect without surface rust or dents.  Rusty or slightly dented buckets can be cleaned up and painted for non sport models.

Brass bezels are often cracked but they can be repaired by soldering a piece of brass sheet on the inside.

One of these buckets I have has no cracks in the bezel and the bucket is good. The other bucket has some deep surface rust and 2 cracks in the bezel.

Cowl lights do show up on e-bay but not very often.  Open car cowl lights are harder to find. Closed car cowl lights are most common.

    Hello Kevin,

I am the guy from the plating company. Do you still have these parts available. I can nickel plate the buckets.

What are the costs? Do you ship to Holland? My email is info@verchromen.nl

    Kind regards. Frank
