I was looking to identify this radiator. Has never been on a car. Was told it was an aftermarket model t?

Thank you for the information. Most of the car is 1912 then except for the engine number which is 1910. Still confused about the brass brackets. They are definitely old. Riveted to the chassis so i believe they are original or replaced a very long time ago. Does anyone on here have any early buick speedsters or racers?

Ive asked about the engine number before and i was told 1910 but the blocks and valve assembly are definitely later. My chassis had the little plate with the chassis number on it taken off it so i dont the year of it. Here is a picture of the gear lever. Here is a bad picture i found on the internet of the car before i purchased it. The wings might help with identifying the model?

Thanks for the reply. I got 3 wings and that was it. The shell of the radiator was rusted through so i got a brass one made instead. I know its not correct for 1912.

I bought it from mark freimiller around 3 years ago and i was told it was 1912 model 34. Im not sure myself what year exactly it is or model. Heres a few photos.

Ive been looking at pictures of 1912 buicks which i think my car is and I haven't seen any with brass brackets like mine. Does anyone have any information about them? Thanks.

Do you know how to tell the difference between a 17 or 18 E-49? Engine number? The car isn't painted. Thanks.

Are the cylinder blocks the same from 1915-17?

Ye I dont want to cut them it would ruin them. I will try your rope technique. I wonder if you got a bit of round bar and rounded it to the same radius as the wheel would it be better?
-
Has anyone ever tried to turn a beeded edge rim into a straight edge? Can you lathe down the edge or get a bit of round bar and tac it under the beeded edge. I cannot get tyres anywhere for the wheel but i can if its a straight edge thats why im asking.

I know a guy that put a belt on a dynastart on a big peerless truck and it never slipped. A belt would be alot cheaper than getting teeth put on the flywheel.
-
Ye bouncing it on a tire or something like that did the trick for me.

How rare as these round badges i have one in bad condition hoping to get it restored to put on my own buick.

Thanks for the information. I appreciate it.

1909 to1915 Ford replacement after market.
Why would they replace the rad? Fancier radiator or better cooling?

I have 2 wheels 25' x 3' beaded edge. What size tyre would I need and where could I get a set?
Thanks

Is the buick badges still available?

You hardly have any spare wheels for one of those do you?

4x4 inch bore? Would that be the big hp engine? I think 45 or 48?

Do you have the link to the add?

Ethain,
The original REMY low tension mags were most often replaced with a Bosch DU4. (Most agree that Bosch mags are best).
My Model was fitted with a BERLING when I got it, but I have a DU4 to replace it when it dies.
Thank you 👍
