  2. I'm  looking to purchase  a pair of power window  motors  for my 73 riviera.....I  see on ebay some motors for a 68 riviera....they look exactly  the same as mine....Is there any difference  between  the two that i cant see...? thanks all for your time...

  4. hey all, hoping someone  could help..

i have a 73 riviera  & in the rear wheel well there a body bushing at the top...when i changed  out my rear springs i had 2 jack stands holding up the car in front of the rear wheels & i noticed the bushing on the right side was loose. I  dont see any bolt to tighten....How do you tighten that bushing?...Is the bolt missing? or am i missing something....if anyone  can help, i would really appreciate  it.....thanks for your time....

  5. for anyone  interested, to remove the glass.... first i removed  the motor....2- remove the regulator..(probably could of removed the regulator  with  motor still attached) 3- disconnect  slide track (top & bottom & pulled out glass & track together....

I'd be surprised if GM used these 'buttons' exclusively on the Riviera.  Maybe try a local auto glass shop and see whether they can order the hardware?

i was considering on trying to make something but the guides are not threaded on..there pressed on so i was wondering  how to get them on.....can i reinstall the glass without removing the whole track?....thanks for replying....20200719_122857.thumb.jpg.dc7547446ec4fa7a68c0af59fb8890cc.jpg

  7. hi all....i have a 73 riviera. The LH rear window kept jamming up. So i took the interior panel off & lowered the window half way & i was able to pull the window right out. I  see 1 of the nylon guides are broken off, & the roller is broken too....Im in the process of trying to find a replacement  glass with good guides on it.....My question  is; is there a way to replace the guides? without getting a whole different glass? Also can i drop the glass back in without taking out the whole mechanism?  hope someone can help, really frustrating.....thankyou..
