Yes. New one. I guess i need to tighten it to the extreme?

Just assembled the oil canister and new filter. Plenty of pressure pushing oil in but it overflows. I drained it and found the small hole on the top of the center pipe and it is not clogged. Any suggestions? When I start the engine i took the top off and there is a good amount of oil coming in. No way it can escape that fast through that little hole.. does the lid need to be tightened extremely tight?

I am going to cut the line running from the manifold to the pump and place a "Tee" to go to the trans. The other part will continue to the vacuum pump. I will then cap the end that use to go to the wipers. I appreciate it greatly.

So just a "T" between the intake and pump. Run a hard line, with small rubber section at trans and that is good? What about the line that ran to the wipers? Cap it or just leave it open to vent?

I am building a custom Buick, (1923 Buick fenders, cowl, running boards, seats) sitting on a 1948 Buick chassis with straight 8 engine. I have mated it to a new TH350 trans from TCI. How do I get the vacuum to the trans? Can I use the vacuum line that was originally intended for the wipers that comes off the vacuum/fuel pump? Also, any info on what needs to be hooked up to the trans? I know I am deleting the kickdown cable. I will have a trans cooler.. What about the other ports? Not used? My main concern is setting up the vacuum line, but I am new to the 350 transmissions. I appreciate any help.

I need some help. I want to use this switch (pic attached) on a custom build. The body is a 23 Buick sitting on a 1948 Buick frame. I am using the Buick straight 8 as well. The car is being converted to 12v since the frame did not come with any wiring. I will be using headlights (no high beams), horn, turn signals, and two brake rear tail lights. Very basic. Can someone please help me figure out a diagram to hook up the wires to this switch? I appreciate it greatly.

Great info. I have a Kellogg 1159 switch I need to get rebuilt for a custom car build I am doing. It doesn't appear to be to bad though. Any companies or people do this? I reached out to Bobs Automobilia and they responded that do not know anything about these switches or have any parts. Also, will this work with a 12v system? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would prefer to sell everything together. If it goes a month without selling, then I will start piecing it out.
