Found a nice hidden jewel in my grandfather stuff. A envelope post card from Hawaii. He and grandma went to the Far East in 1917-1918 to Sell Gardford Trucks. He also hold Four patents on the radiator. On the front and back of the envelope contains drawing of radiators cores. I think Hawaii was last stop and being in the tropics he start thinking and drawing about humidity, temperature and stop and go effect on it. His fourth patent was submitted 1920.

LONDON OFFICE, 1903 HE WORK FOR AMERICAN LAFRANCE AS A STEAM ENGINEER,
WORKING ON TYPE 1, 1904 WHITE STEAM CARS, 1907 MANAGE AND DROVE WHITES FOR
PRES. TEDDY ROOSEVELT AND TAFT. 1909 DROVE A WHITE IN THE GLIDDEN TOUR WITH
WALTER WHITE. AFTER THAT WENT WORK FOR GILFORD TRUCK LIMA OHIO.
LOOK FOR ARTICLE, PHOTOS, ANYTHING RELEVANT.

Tom Sorry for not responding sooner,
been a real busy fall, receive a video project from Barnhart Crane and Rigging,
grandpa would be proud, plus he would want to tag along on a shoot.
I don't know his role was at Stanley.
I hope maybe if you see his name in your research, you could forward it. Also attached a few pieces.
