Need help finding a Remy 6980 Cap. If I can not fine one is there a way I could put another dist in the engine.  The dist. thats In there is a Delco 376A.  If someone could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

It has new gas in it.  Can you tell me when I move the lever by the steering wheel up does that advance the timing or retard it?

So heres the weird part about this.  It was running ok but would die out.  So we put a new coil and condenser on it and now it won't start and back fires.  We didn't move any wires are timing.

I am installed and new coil and condenser.  Now I am getting a back fire when I try to start it.  Really loud back fire.  This didn't happen until I installed the new coil.  What could be causing this?

Hello,

 

I am having the same problem with the spark.  Sometimes it works and sometimes nothing.  I have cleaned the points but I have changed the coil out.  Could that be my problem or do I have another issue.
