I have a '31 trans out of a CM6 , but it has 1 broken tooth on the cluster-gear .

I used the rubber-expanding plugs ( I know -- boo on me ) with success.

I vote for 20W-50 oil. Will hold it's viscosity better when hot.

I have a 32 trans in the car now but I wish I could have a spare and also find a cluster gear to fix one of the others

Do you know what years trans would fit a 1931 mopar 6 cylinder !?!? I have a '31 Chrysler CM-6.

We found a machine shop that will make the part for us. With the original part being pot metal, even if we were able to find another original we may just end up having the same problem when we try to put it to use. The new one will be aluminum and so much stronger. Hopefully this will solve the issue and we will be able to get the car in motion.
Great. So how much it cost ???

Hi all. I have a broken main leaf on my '31 Chrysler. It is 35" x 1.75" with eye at both ends.
I tried searching on ebay. , but find lots of 25" .
