[48 Olds to 56-58 Olds manual steering box]

Does anyone know if a manual steering box from a 56-58 Olds will bolt up to the same mounting holes  on a 48 model?  I have header clearance problems  with an updated motor and would like to convert to steering shaft with u-joints.  Thanks in advance!!

[Pontiac Engine Block 6 Cylinder 1941 - 1948]
