  1. Thank you for your quick reply, Mr. Albright! I gathered that the parts in the photos had been sold to the car owner in New Jersey. I was more curious if the remainder of the 1911 truck chassis from Rusk, Texas--i.e. frame rails, axles, wheels, etc.--was still around or not. I'm glad that the running gear went to a home.

    Thanks,

    Neil

  2. Would anyone be interested in a 1972 Ford Courier that is currently for sale in Paso Robles, CA? The seller is moving and if the truck is not off the property on or before June 19th, there may be no choice but to junk it. This seems like it would be a waste, as I am sure there are people out there who could use Courier parts. This truck may also be complete enough to restore.

    Here's a link to the truck's Craigslist ad: https://slo.craigslist.org/pts/d/paso-robles-1972-ford-courier-parts/6906484141.html

There is also a '69 F250 with a Douglas utility bed available from the same seller: https://slo.craigslist.org/pts/d/paso-robles-1969-ford-250-pickup-truck/6901272281.html

Please PM me or contact the seller if you are interested.

    Thanks,

  3. Hello,

Would anyone be interested in a 1969 F-250 with a utility bed that is currently for sale in Paso Robles, CA? The seller is moving and if the truck is not off the property on or before June 19th, there may be no choice but to junk it. That would be a shame. You don't see old pickups with these types of beds very often. It has the original 360 V8, a 4 speed manual, and a good title. The seller also tells me that he is willing to settle for a very agreeable price.

  4. Hello,

I'm curious if anyone on this forum might be interested in acquiring a circa 1927-1930 Kleiber 2.5 ton truck that's currently for sale in Paso Robles, CA.  The seller tells me that if it is not removed from its present resting place on or before June 19th, it will almost certainly be scrapped.  This is because the seller is moving and has to be off the property after June 19.

Kleiber trucks were made in San Francisco from 1914 to 1937 and are quite rare nowadays. I'm told that this truck was originally used to haul timber to the quicksilver mines just west of Paso Robles. The family that's selling it now has had it for about 40 years or so.

Here's a link to the Craigslist ad for the truck: https://slo.craigslist.org/pts/d/paso-robles-1927-kleiber-truck/6901281241.html

The truck is in rough shape, but most of the parts are there (some are not pictured). I believe it can be restored.

I wouldn't mind having this truck myself, but the timing doesn't work well for me and I have too many projects already. I just want it to be saved from the scrap heap. I have also studied this brand of truck for quite some time and could assist the new owner(s) if they want to restore it.

Please feel free to PM me if you are interested.
