Thanks, decided not to use the white decal besides it's too big for the cleaner. I'm gonna order the one you showed assuming it's the same. Described as "kidney" shape

I seem to not be able to find an exact decal online, most don’t say “Pontiac Motor Division”. Share a link if you end up locating one :)

  2. Hello all! I’m brand new to the forums. I bought an ol 1951 Chieftain Steamliner when I was in high school and restored it to all original while working in a shop. It has now been more than 10 years and I finally brought my car home from the farm. One of the things I want to re-do is the painted grooves on the hood/trunk trim straps. I’m pretty sure we used a stainless steel etching chemical and an epoxy primer before slapping that beautiful Berkshire Green on them. Almost immediately after a few car shows out in the hot sun and a few car washes, the paint started flaky off of the trim. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Ya, that's the one they sent me. My cleaner is this style. I haven't seen any with decals on them so I'll be first!

Hey Summershandy, I’m new to the forums. My 51 pontiac streamliner has the same oil bath air cleaner as yours. Mine has a worn decal on the top (curved and orange)
