I do have an extra set. Not perfect but better than average for originals. I'll have to get by my warehouse and uncover them if you are interested. Aged pot metal doesn't handle the strip tank of s chrome plater very well. Especially if brittle
Hi Joe, would like to see the pictures as I am interested, the problem with mine regarding the plating process was that the firm tried to grind out the pits instead of filling and smoothing prior to the plating processes, felt like puking when I saw them .

It is an FB President. The Standard Catalog says they built 13,186 of them between June and October 1928. Serial numbers start at 7000001 and seeing this is number 177 the casting date of may 1928 sound right. The FB was the new for 1928 1/2 short wheelbase (121") version of the President and is the first model to have the bigger bore 337 cubic inch engine. As it is on wood wheels my guess is that it did not have sidemounts, but I notice it has a full width rear bumper so maybe it did have them. There is a pic of an FA wood wheel car with side mounts in the Crestline Studebaker book. The FB is the model that was used to set the speed records at the Atlantic City speedway in July 1928.
Hello, would you happen to know of a source to purchase "The Standard Catalog "
Looking forward to your reply

Joe Petrello , I have a Atlanta Flying Lady , that is an original ,,the end of the hand is missing, overall pretty good condition. I can take a series of pics for you, regarding price I really have no idea, I have been watching ebay for the last year and the pricing is all over the map, although that does not seem to be a determing factor for sales , only one has been reposted for sale twice. let me know, you can email me at warbird1923@hotmail.com
