Now, I've heard of "good" advice, and then there's GREAT advice. And "Heeding this post" I think is GREAT advice ! Thanks a lot. When I get to the water pump work on my 23-39, I will absolutely recall this. I'm counting on the 4 cylinder pump to be a little more simple than the 6 cylinder - but it still requires this good attention.
Thanks again. I do appreciate seeing this.

Edgecomb, You will find no better advisors to answer your questions than Hugh Leidlein, and Larry DiBarry and Leif in Sweden. They do know the
1920’s Buicks.

Hi Kevin,
I'm the fellow who has the 23-39 Buick, with the gas cap in the photos. When Hugh saw my photos, he said it looked like a cap from a Model A . I was convinced when he said so, and with your note - I'm more sure. I have no idea why, way back in my car's history, somebody would change from the original cap with the mickey mouse ears, unless it was lost somewhere along the way. I'd like to find a correct one. Maybe in time. Thanks for your post and photos.

Hello Everyone,
I am looking for a few parts for my 23-39 (4 cyl) roadster. In particular....
1. A mud pan - the sheet metal panel panel between the front frame horns, in front of the radiator.
2. A gas gauge - as complete as possible.
3. The brackets for the visor over the windshield, and the brackets (screw-on, to the w/shield frame) for the wind wings.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks, Terry. I'm beginning to look forward (I think) to seeing what's inside my 4 cyl pump.
