  1. Hi All - yes I am also on the Hudson yahoo group for Hudson's.

Thanks - I have been in contact frequently with Carl and he has given me some contacts but not the correct parts available.

If I do not locate the correct fender in a few months then I will need to fabricate the right side fenders.  My left sides fenders were in good shape however the rights seemed to have been in a demolition derby.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

    Dave

  2. Hi John, yes - these parts can be fabricated and that was my next shot if I can't turn up any of these items.

The right rear would be the easier than the front. The front is massive plus it has a well in it. and both have beaded and wire edges.

The wire wheel hub caps could be CNC machined but maybe it would be easier just to see if a Franklin or Chrysler hub cap could be modified as they used the same wire wheel in 1929

These parts are around but the owners are passionately attached to them, which I don't blame them.

Again Thank you and have a wonderful evening.

    Dave

  3. Parts needed to finish my 1929 Hudson 4-door standard sedan:

Right rear and right front fender w/well, Hub caps for wire wheels, right side front visor bracket, Right & left spare tire brace mounts that screw through the cowl into a bracket, spare tire wheel locks and would be interested in 1929 parts car.
