I am not one to use the web site very often but a reply to my question from Plymouth cranbrrok was able to get me into a very knowledgeable site called dmctalk.org. WOW does that help me with various situations, Thanks Plymouth!

My current problems trying to identify the thickness of the rotor. One of the brake technicians says there is usually a minimum number stamped on the rotor.
after cleaning off the rust, I do not see this number and the service manual does not specify that number. Any ideas?

!981-83 DeLoreans qualify as over 25 year old autos. I am currently rebuilding 2 of them and would love to have discussion about this task.

OK Now I have the doors off and am trying to test the interior components. The service manual does not tell me what the plug wires go to. Of course, I can trace each one but I would like to apply power to a wire at the door to chassis plug connector. Any hints of where this might be specified? I left a message on the dmctalk website but got no immediate response.
