    Reason is I am not seeing our 1990 convertible in there, sent the information earlier this year.

    It has been a number of years since this topic was active, and I am in the situation of either needing to have the radio in our 1990 Reatta repaired (snap, crackle and pop from both left and right channels, front and back).  I am torn between three options and would like some opinions.

     

    Send to MRN for repair.  Will still have the same mediocre sound.  I will probably have this done anyway to keep the car original if I ever decide to sell.  Best to fix now, things are becoming more rare as time goes on.

     

    RetroSound New York - They say it will work for the Riviera but not the Reatta.  I have read here the Riviera/Reatta radios are interchangable, but not certain if the bracketry and mounting is the same.  Any thoughts on this?

    Good Evening Everyone,

     

    Now that my new ride is cleaned up, fluids changed and ready for the road, I was wondering if there is any interest in meeting at a local establishment for a beverage or a burger now that summer is arriving in Wisconsin.  Would be good to meet a few other owners and chat about things car related and otherwise.  Now that we have the car, my wife is really enjoying the topless life.  I am too new of a member to message anyone so hopefully others will post here or message me.

    1990 climate control

    Hear, hear!  Cleaned my contacts this morning using strips of a 3x5 index card and contact cleaner.  Works perfectly now and took about 30 minutes complete.  The only scary part of the process was removing the bezel around the instrument cluster.  31 year old plastic can be amazingly brittle.

    After yet another long Wisconsin winter, my father's Reatta Convertible is now safely in our garage.  Spent the better part of this morning cleaning it up, changing the oil and making a list of the items that need attention.  Pretty much typical stuff, the headlights need the actuators renewed, the sun visor clips are broken.  Both of these parts I have found and they will be on order shortly.

     

    The one item that is broken and I cannot find a replacement for is the passenger seat recliner switch bezel which is broken in two pieces right on the screw line.  Note, this is located on the side of the seat, not on the door arm rest.  Anyone know of a replacement for this?  Other than that, the car is perfect and all original.

    Awesome, great to hear there are others in the area who understand and appreciate these cars.  Once I have it out in the late spring, we will need to have a little gathering!

    Hello!

     

    After developing some age related vision problems, my father recently gifted me his 1990 Reatta Convertible, Red with tan top and interior.  It is as close to showroom new condition as possible and has a little over 24k miles on the odometer.  My intent is not to sell the vehicle at this time, it means too much to him and I will continue to take him for rides with the top down as that is something he enjoys greatly.  Rather I am curious the current value given the condition so I can insure it for the proper value.
