When is the registration deadline for the Melbourne Winter Nationals / when must I register by?
I plan to register online and print out the registration form.

I went to 2 local Chevy dealer parts departments this morning and spoke with their respective Parts Managers. Each one took a look at my bed liner and assured me that it's a genuine GM part, because the official GM logo is quite obvious, and GM routinely pursues actions against folks that use their logo improperly, on much smaller items. They state that those particular GM bed liners were a dealer-only item.
One told me that he'd send me an e-mail to that effect.
The other gave me the old part numbers, now discontinued, and item descriptions, as "Genuine GM Parts" from 1996. They printed that out on their GM system, that displays the the GM copyright. Then I googled the main part# and found it as a discontinued part, listed as: "Genuine GM" from several GM dealers online. I printed one of those out.
So, I'll have 3 documents, plus the bed liner itself, that clearly displays a large GM corporate logo.

I have a 1996 S10 pick up with the original GM bed liner as shown in the attached photos, with the large GM logo behind the cab, as they had at the time. I bought the truck with it at 18k original miles, when It was 100% original (tires, belts, hoses, exhaust, everything). It now has 49k miles and I've since replaced all 4 tires, 4 shocks and 1 serpentine belt; -that's it. When I bought it with 18k miles, I removed the bed liner and the bed showed faded paint where the liner shakes against the bed, at the tops of the bed rails mostly. I've left it there since and would like to leave it there, since it's obviously a 1996 GM original. Is this a problem for HPOF?
I have the original window sticker and it's not on it, so this must be a dealer-installed item, purchased from GM.

Response from the office that gets paid by the dues:
The same time that the first renewal notice for the new member year is sent to the members we are getting ready for a big national show in Hershey, PA.
There is a lot of preparation that goes into getting ready for the Hershey show. This year we closed the office during the show and the whole staff worked at the event. After the show there is still a lot to do. We are still trying to get everything finalized.
Starting this week we are focusing on processing the 2020 membership payments that have been received. Membership cards will be printed and mailed in early November.

Good to know Dave. I can easily remove the tonneau cover. Should I leave it's aluminum bracket in place? It would leave holes too. A photo is attached.

We are planning to try for HPOF with a 4x4 1988 S10 pickup, with 52k original miles. It's original, but has aftermarket running boards & a vinyl tonneau cover. Should those be removed? Removal of the running boards will leave holes in the lower body seam & wheel trim moldings. If they have to be removed, I was thinking of doing that on the show field / leave them under the truck.

This 22,000 mile original mile car has won six (6) national awards, 4 from the AACA & 2 from the BCA. The car is flawless and would probably show up the new cars if it were in a showroom.
It's been stored in a climate controlled garage since new and was featured in a December, 2012 article in the Buick Bugle. There is nothing wrong with this car, not even a single leak. I'm selling it to thin the herd. This is an exceptional opportunity for the collector interested in the 70's.
The photo with trophies below is 2 years old; there are now about 50 trophies and everyone is for 1st place, even when judged with other national winners. This car never got 2nd or 3rd place.
$12,000. It's hardly ever driven yet runs like new because it's very well taken care of.

Thank-you. It's most likely the original hood pad. Almost everything else on the car is. I just replaced the original fan belts yesterday, but kept the old ones for spares.

Should I replace the torn hood silencer pad on a 77 New Yorker Brougham that I plan to register for it's first HPOF at Hershey, or leave it original? The car has 41k original miles.
