It looks like the coach builder Brooks-Ostruk of New York City made a Minerva sedan elite with a small window adjacent to the A pillar, but it was flat, rather than the wrap-around type like the car in the picture.

Please help identify this Minerva. My guess is its a circa 1926 Minerva Type A series. Body by Cunard? The wrap around windows at the corner of the "A pillars" are unique, can't seem to be able to assign them to a particular coach builder. The provenance on this particular vehicle was that it was used by Kaiser Wilhelm during part of the time he was exiled in Doorn, Holland, after WWI. Thank you for your help.

Hi Vintman: The character line that runs the length of the hood is not unlike some of the Packards, however the car doesn't seem to have the traditional "proportions" that you usually identify with Packards. The spare tire wheel well seems to rule out Minerva's of this period. In post WWI France it was not "politically correct" to be seen operating a vehicle from Germany, so I have ruled out a car having a German pedigree. Am I assuming too much?

Maybe a Hispano Suiza T32 with a Leon Dufor Landaulette body?
Ivan, what is it about the 3/4 elliptic rear springs that makes you rule out a H S?

The gentlemen sitting on the running board nearest the spare tire had the occupation of "chauffeur" in 1924; would later become a mechanic at Bugatti, in Molsheim; emigrate to the US and have a stellar career as a master mechanic working on cars at Indianapolis, Sebring, Watkins Glen, et al; Ferraris, Duesenbergs, Talbot-Lago, Maserati, Miller, am trying to trace his pre-mechanic days after WWI. IMHO, in culling through the RR data it appears that the roadster (or possible fixed head coupe') appears to be from the post WWII Silver Wraith series,(late '40s). It seems to have similar lines to the 1950 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith Drophead Roadster by H.J. Mulliner, chassis #WGC48, that was ordered by Sybil Rhodes. It doesn't appear to share similar lines to bodies from Park Ward, J. Young, or Hopper.The roofline looks a little more "sporty" than most RR fixed head coupe's. No wind wing at the A pillar.
