Andy Di Dia labored for seven years to hand-build the swoopy body and large greenhouse. I imagine it got awfully hot in there when driven on a sunny day, but singer Bobby Darin bought the car and drove it to the Academy Awards that same year. In 1962 it was featured in the movie (TOO LATE BLUES). I took these pictures July of 1994 at the Tranportation Museum in St Louis Mo. When visiting my inlaws.
