Waltham Transportation History Seminar - Car Show Waltham, Massachusetts

Saturday September 24th - Seminar  /  Car Show Sunday September 25th.
Join us Saturday September 24th 2022 1PM for a gathering of owners and historians & enthusiasts as we explore the rich history of motorized transportation manufactured and or related to the City of Waltham, Massachusetts. A lecture of the rescue and restoration of a 1901 Orient by George King. A display of vehicles manufactured in Waltham. Question & Answer open discussion session where we explore Automobiles, Bicycles, Motorcycles, Steam Cars and patent that were brought to light by people like Abner Doble, Charles Metz, George Tinker, John Piper, Leonard Gaylord and others. Feel free to bring your historical memorabilia and vehicles to display.
This event will take place in the newly restored carriage house at Gore Place the former corporate office of the Waltham Manufacturing Co. (Metz Automobiles). $20 per person which will include a tour of Gore Place at the conclusion of the lecture. Brass Era Vehicles to post - war vehicles are welcome to participate both days.
 
The Car Show on Sunday September 25th registration begins at 7AM. Same Location Gore Place, 52 Gore St. Waltham, Ma.
