VintageAuto Posted February 4, 2007 Share Posted February 4, 2007 68 Firebird 400 w/factory "Hurst" 4-spd...actually manufactured in Sept.67...left to us by my paw-n-law,who got this piece of AMERICAN MUSCLE for college grad in '68It has 32k original mi. and all but 200 mi are logged (he kept maticulouse records) He started the log book right after delivery w/2.7 mi...every time he put gas in it,or did maintanence...he logged it!everything is documented all the way down to the dealer invoice/protecto-plate/owners manual, and window sticker!She sat in our warhouse for right around 14 years...(he passed away 12 years ago)...and the first time I uncovered her...I was in love!Hooke up a can of fresh gas,put in some new points/wires, and she roared to life like she never missed a beat!...and man can she SCOOT!
