Guest Posted March 16, 2002 Share Posted March 16, 2002 The ingenious pot metal fan hub assembly on my Fast Four (S# A-957732) went to pieces (literally!) this winter. Fortunately there was an article in the Apr/May 2001 issue of the D-B Club News that gave me the specs necessary to have a new hub and shaft turned to accommodate modern sealed bearings (it's also on the DB Club web page). Best of all the original appearance is retained!
