1917 engine drip tray

I'm assuming its a 3 piece set, or I'm missing some brackets.  I have the two side pieces which almost reach the oil pan, but nothing holding the insides of them.  What held the insides of the two side trays?  There are nuts on the top of the pans on both sides so something must have bolted up from the bottom to those drip trays.  I like working on this car, you can get at everything, the drip trays catch any parts you drop, and I've got a small tool box worth of tools laid out on the running boards.
