Guest
Thought someone might like to see an example of a retrofit of 1952 power steering in a 1950 Super convert. My friend and I found a 52 Super 2 Dr ht with complete power steering and harvested it including steering draglink and tie rod ends and column with trans linkage. There is also some bracektry on the master cylinder. The column mast jacket is also just for the power steering cars, as the large power unit leaves less room for the length of the top half of the column. He took it to Lares Inc. and I think they did a Concors job restoring it. It is a bolt in! Enjoy the pix! Follow-up photos when engine is installed with pump and brackets. Guest
Some progress on assembly. Trial fit of front sheet metal b4 final paint.plumbing the tubes for top and windows. Darker lines are easy hand bend tube supplied by Brake and Equipment wharehouse in Mpls.MN. Much easier to work with and more corrosion resistant than older brake line material.
