Guest shaleradon Posted July 4, 2015 Share Posted July 4, 2015 I recently went to the store, parked my 90 coupe, did my shopping, released the parking brake, then when I got home the parking brake didn't work.So I took a look at it and it appears that the cable came off the pedal ratchet. Guest Rp1967 Posted July 6, 2015 Share Posted July 6, 2015 (edited) Right beyond the end of the cable is a "Saddle" for lack of a better word , that is made of heavy sheet metal that the barrel on the end of the cable rests in.If the cable didn't break and the barrel is still attached I would suspect your cable is hanging up in its housing.
