Guest
In the 1957 Summer issue of the Antique Automobile Magazine, there was an article in THE STEAM CORNER, by Donald Gibson, talking about a conversion of Stanley engines from D valves to Piston valves. A conversion block was made and tested to good results in a 20HP car. Does anyone know anything about this conversion, or how I may find drawings, or information on it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rich.
Guest
Steam Automobile Club of America, Inc. has the blue print for the piston valve Stanley engine block and valves. I bought a copy of it about two years ago. I presently have one of those blocks and would like to use it in one of my Stanleys.
