Guest Brinybay
I'm trying to identify this part for a friend. Close as I can find from googling around is that it's an antique auto coil, but the only other one I found so far that's even close doesn't have that plug-in jack. So what is this thing? What does the jack plug into? Edited October 31, 2014 by Brinybay Added another picture (see edit history)
Guest richentee
It's an Atwater-Kent ignition coil, ca. 1917-20. Used on Franklins and likely others. Is it for sale?
