1956 Packard Clipper Deluxe - 4 door sedan

For sale locally in Tucson AZ is this Clipper Deluxe from 1956. This car is thought to be (not confirmed) an original car to Tucson AZ and from Bowyer Motors (Arizona's first Packard agency).

This is a 60k near original survivor that runs and drives and is registered through 2014. The car presently needs a new heater core and generator. This car was owned by a friend and his family has asked me to sell it due to his passing. This Deluxe carries the trim code of A-13 (Shannon Green). This "plain Jane" is not typical of most Packards from 1956. Most of those were loaded with power options unlike this example. This car has NO torsion level and a 3 speed transmission. She is powered by Packard's 352 V8 and a 2 barrel Carter carburetor. The heads were rebuilt some years back and replaced. Prior to passing away, the previous owner had the radio and clock removed. He was hoping to replace it with another radio. The Clipper radio and the clock are with the car as well as a trunk load of other assorted parts that are being sold with the car. We car fellows and gals know, to be perfect this Packard will need one of everything. I however think that this would be a great first time Packard hobbyist's dream car.
