Bighim
1954 Lincoln Capri ConvertibleHere is a very Rare 1954 Lincoln Capri ConvertibleOnly 1951 were made back in 1954This car is registered and currently driven.Engine: The Capri has the original 317 ci engine that runs well with no unusual noises or smoke. The automatic transmission shifts as it should and the car drives out as you would expect.Exterior: The car is very solid with some minor bubbling on the bottom of truck lid. There is some minor bubbling by the drivers door but there is no holes or visible rust on the exterior of the car. The car was painted sometime in the past and it is driver quality but presentable, not show quality. The panel fit is good but the of the passenger side door sticks out slightly (see photo). Chrome: All the chrome is present on the car (the piece that goes on the lower part of the passenger side quarter panel is off the car but it is included as are the windshield wiper arms). The quality of the chrome ranges from very good to pitted. The front bumper has a small bend in it on the drivers side. The rear of the car has a Continential kit for spare tire. Glass: All there and in very good to average shape. All power window units operate fine.Convertible Top: The top was replaced 1 year ago and it is in very nice shape. The power top works fine (see photos).Interior: The interior appears to be original. The front seat cover is split on the seems. The rear seat has no splits but is old looking. The door panels are old but okay in condition and need a good cleaning. The rug is aged but not worn out. The gas gauge, battery gauge and temp gauge all work fine. Speedometer works fine. The oil sending switch needs to be replaced. The heater, clock and the radio are not working. The dashboard looks good with no bends or cuts. The floors feel soft.Trunk: The trunk is in very good solid shape (see photos). There is no jack or spare tire.Data Tag: Serial number 54WA23133H#, Style BS76A, Body Specif. 01-100-429-D-8Overall this is a very solid running, driving Lincoln Capri that can be used now.
