FS: 1920s SCHEBLER Model S Brass updraft Carburetor

Recommended Posts

For Sale, One antique automobile SCHEBLER model S brass air valve type updraft carburetor made in Indianapolis USA. Other markings include embossed SV2, 1 1/4 and SV42 on bottom vent. Stamped on a boss is SX93 which might have some exact model designation meaning. These large complex brass vintage scheblers are getting very hard to find. The model S was used on many large late 1920s touring 6 & 8 cylinder engined classic cars. This carb has been on a shelf untouched since word war two. It was taken off a vehicle that were scrapped in war effort metal drives.. The owner thinks he took this off a 1927 Auburn.. I believe the S model scheblers may be used on other historical automobiles as Simplex, Duesenberg, Cord, Cadillac, Packard and I am sure many more. The auction proceeds are going to the old timer so he can get some home heating oil this winter. Please check ATTACHED photo.. I have many other photos if needed. PRICE IS $200 plus priority mail to your zip code. Please email oscarhedstrom@hotmail.com smirk.gifcool.gif

THANKS
