Guest 1959olds Posted November 9, 2004 Share Posted November 9, 2004 My father in law has a 49 Plymouth. When we go to shows the third gear really winds out at 55 mph. We have looked all over for a overdive transmission with no results. Can he, should he, think about swapping for higher gears in the rear? If so, what size?
