Guest De Soto Frank
Chrysler engines in this period were silver things like oil filer tubes, starter, generator, coil, air cleaner were semi-gloss black.POR-15 silver engine paint is a very close match to the original color...the so-called "aluminum" paints from the hardware store are much to "shiny"...makes it look like you sprayed the engine with "buymper chrome"...Intake manifold is silver; exhausts were either un-painted or same silver as block. The lettering in the spark plug wire covers ( "Firepower" ) was usually done in red.
