Guest
I recently found a tachometer in my shop. I have no idea where it came from, but it is about 3" in diameter with white numbers on a black face. it says CHRYSLER across the middle of the face, and reads from 0-50 in hundreds. it is an electronic tach with three electrical connections just like a modern tach with a hole for the light. it is in perfect condition leading me to believe that it was never installed. does anyone know what this tach is or what it should be in? Jon Robinson
Glenn: A friend of mine had a 1967 Chrysler 300 that he bought new, and the tach you're describing sounds just like the one that came with that car from the factory. It was mounted at the front end of the console under the dash. Unfortunately, my friend suddenly died very young several years ago, and I haven't seen the car since his family sold it along with others he had, so I can't do any better on confirming what you have, but I hope I've provided you with a starting point.
