Guest
I'm in the process of replacing both inner & outer rockers on a '40 LC cabriolet. On the inners, the replacement piece has boxed sections forward and rear to attach to the "outriggers", or support brackets which are attached to the frame. My car has no boxed section on the forward section of the replacement rail/channel, as the support bracket is attached directly to the inside of the channel. According to the sheetmetal man who makes these parts, he has never heard of such a configuration. Anyone out there go through the replacement process that may be able to lend some pointers or insight??THX!
