    Yup, the 8 won't fit without alot of massaging. However, a 'big block' 251/265 will. I'm looking for one to go in the 1950 biz coupe (the '40 fell through - seller was a jerk!) so any leads in central/southern FL would be appreciated!

    That sucks. I was kinda looking forward to building this thing up. Theoretically, it could still be done if I modify the firewall but I'll have to look into it more seriously. I can't find any data on it for some reason.

    Will a 323 fit (nicely) in a 1940 coupe? It came out of a 1940 Chrysler coupe...

    Desoto intakes are limited unless you fab your own. Stock 4bbls are good. The Hilborn EFI is a very cool but super-expensive setup!
