Nick, thank for the picture. I would like to stay with the factory style mirror if possible. This was an aftermarket option, which is a lot better than the factory ones. I might have to go this route.

Need help on this. I purchased the optional passenger side outside mirror arm and round mirror. I took off the door metal panel to see where the 3 provisions were. They are just like on the driver side except there are not welded nuts on the passenger side. Anyway I installed the right side arm at the provisions and you can not see the mirror from the driver side seat. Does anyone have an original 58 Apache that had the right hand outside mirror installed from the factory? Your help is greatly appreciated.
