I apologize for this silly question. I guess I need to place 10 zillion flashlights up under my truck to try and see what I have been missing so far. Where normally is the fill plug for the rear axle of a 57 D100 1/2 ton pickup? I want to change my fluid. I do see the vent valve on the upper portion (left side) of the differential, when I am behind the unit. I just am not seeing the filler plug. I am wondering is there so much gook on the housing that it is preventing me from seeing the plug? When I get home tonight, I seriously am going to get back under the car and light things up extremely well so that I can see. Then I will make sure to clean the housing also. Thanks ahead of time for any advice. Eddie
