Thanks for your infos. I have to find a shop for rebuild parts.

My 1948 Lincoln Continental V12 starts and drives, but not perfect. I have taken the ignition system out and adjusted it as good as it can be. But the coils are maybe the original parts from 1948, the rotor and both distributor plates are worn out. Does anybody know if it is possible to change the system into a modern type of ignition?
