EricCartman
Hi All,I'm wondering if anyone can help point me to a part source for a '54 Ford Customline. The reason I ask is that my mother recently inhereted her fathers old car, and it has some serious rust problems. I would like to restore this car if at all possible. I do not need to use original parts. I am open to using fiberglass and/or reproduction parts if available.I have done some basic searches online, and have not come up with much. Any help on locating body part sources would be very much appreciated. Thanks,Cartman
FomocoService
Try Dennis Carpenter in Charlotte NCConcours Parts in NevadaTee-Bird products in Exton PA (primarily 55-56 Fords, but some stuff will interchange)Joblot Automotive in New York..These are a few, but I've dealt with them and haven't had a bad experience.I would go with metal replacement over fiberglass, you'd be surprised what's out there in the way of repair panels.Feel free to ask more questions, I did a '54 Victoria for a customer last year and got to know them pretty good.
