Restorer32
Does anyone remember the name of the host hotel in Detroit where the 100th anniversary of the auto in America was celebrated? I remember the revolving restaurant on the top floor. Mrs Restorer 32 and I are traveling to Mich for the Grand National. She wants to spend a bit of time in the Henry Ford Museum, thought it would be nice to stay where I stayed during the 100th.
Restorer32
Sometimes just writing down the question stimulates the memory. It was the Hyatt Regency.
mrpushbutton
You got it right, that is the Dearborn Hyatt regency. There is a Hampton Inn on Michigan avenue in Dearborn that is almost on the Greenfield Village/HFM property--a nice place. While you are in town make time to seethe Automotive hall of fame--Dearborn--not far from GV/HFMthe Walter P. Guest De Soto Frank
When I was a kid, Baltimore had a Holiday Inn with a revolving restaurant... I believe it was on Eutaw St., across from the Bromo Seltzer tower... <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
