what happened to the ROA!?!?!?? and my Katrina Rivvy's

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately my membership has lapsed for the past couple of years due to us rebuilding after Katrina.This may not be the best place for responding, but I would like to know how rxactly the S^%T hit the fan w/ our wonderful group.

I am going to continue the frame off on my '66 once we are back in the house and outta this trailer.

I have also acquired a beautiful custom show '71 from a dear friend who was just too upset to rebuild this car after waiting and working on it for several years. Both the '66 and the '71 show car were underwater for a few days. The '71 was hit several times in the frint by rescue boats saving the owners from their roof. One day as I was trying to turn the crank I found out a 455 holds OVER 8 gal og oil a h2o??? <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> A local man saw me up @ my mom's workin on'er and mentioned he had 2 more,an orig AZ car w/ decent paint, rebuilt motor and tranny and a parts car. SoI of course bought'em both. (Drywall, cabinets and the whole rebuild thing had to wait as I cound't pass'em up. )Down side- his mech was literaly a crackhead who while high completely dimantled both entire dashes. Hopin to get 'em together soon..

But was very dissappointed to find bad times for my beloves ROA. WTF happened?????
