1967 Buick Skylark GS 340

Hi,

I am new to the website and am looking for some help on a 1967 GS 340. I have the opportunity to purchase one that would need a total restore. The car has the original 340 engine and is also a convertible. I do believe all 4 quarters will need to be replaced. The frame also looks to be rusting in some parts. The engine compartment and the trunk look pretty good, and so does the interior. I am not sure if the car is worth the 3000.00 that the seller is wanting. I would appreciate any help possible.

Red flag #1 is that they never made Skylark GS 340 cnvertible - if you could get a vin # or model # I am sure we could help you further. It is probably a Sylark cloned to look like a GS - $3000 sounds steep for the condition you describe for a Skylark conv. Hope that helps.
