If you've seen the movie "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane", the car which runs over the young lady is the exact car he owns. RShepherd Posted May 20, 2007 Share Posted May 20, 2007 The car that Jane (Bette Davis) ran over Blanche (Joan Crawford) with (in a flashback scene) was a much older car (late 20's/early 30's) and a Packard, if I remember correctly. A similar Model J was featured in <span style="font-style: italic">Collectible Automobile</span>, Volume 21, Issue 2, August, 2004, and was valued (then) at between $500,000 to $900,000. Rare as hen's teeth when new (records indicate 60 Murphy Conv. Coupes were produced), in many people's eyes Duesenbergs are the <span style="font-style: italic">ne plus ultra</span> of all Motordom.
