Those appear to be Allante seats. By the way, I've bought from him with good service and no problems.

Just this morning as I was lying in bed, thinking how I could get more storage in my car, wishing the Reatta had back of seat pockets, there they are in phase 2! Wrong color and they do look like Allante' seats. Still looking for storage ideas. I use this car as my daily driver, I am an insurance agent who works by calling on my clients at their home/business. [More convienance for the client = more sales for me!]

I have purchased from this seller and............

I purchased 5 different items he was selling during the same time period.

He get you on shipping and will not combine shipping. I received the 5 items, inspected them and then combined them into 2 boxes. I could have saved the shipping on at least two of the items.

Also....I think he is getting so wrapped up in his Ebay selling that he either thinks he is a Reatta expert or just makes up a story.

Someone needs to send him a message..............

I did. I sent him this last night.

[color:"green"]What is a Phase 2 Reatta ? I have heard of Phase 3, never Phase 2. What is the difference?

No reply yet.

These parts are from an Allante-I have both Reattas and Allantes. There is a thread on the Allante forum of some people who were ripped off by this guy, and others who were very satisfied.

A stage 2 Allante is a 90.5 when a number of changes were made, most noticably the power top locks for the front of the top. This also changed for the optional hardtop (standard on the earlier cars) which makes it much more expensive. A stage 3 Allante is really just a 93 only, when there were a number of changes-most noticeably the Northstar engine. The elimination of the fake vent windows also meant a new change for the hardtop, and as so few were made with a hardtop in 93 these tops sometimes go for $5000 plus. The 93s are usually not referred to as stage 3, but just Northstar, unless you are talking about the hardtop only, then it is often called a stage 3 hardtop.

I also sent a msg and got a reply that it is a posting error and that they are Allante seats. The msg was from Paul. I could understand a posting error on one ad but the same posting error is on a bunch of ads. I would use caution. I would think that Paul would want to earn respect, I would question his honesty?

"paul in Kentucky" is the "big man" in the "paul and michael" "COOLPARTS PAIR" .

It is suggested to read the feedback of this "pair or team"...also take into account that the feedback does not include "mutually withdrawn entries". You also might like to view some of the negative feedback that has been left, AND ALSO click on the ebay members feedback that left the negative on the "COOLPARTS PAIR".....michael leaves the feedback for the "pair". and he always punishes the terrible person leaving the negative feedback with "removed from bidding on our items" .

Might also want to view the recent post titled "EBay sellers"

Jon or Viking63 has a list of ebay sellers that have rendered unsatisfactory behavior (there are other descriptive words and phrases for these sellers )

This forum has the absolute best resource for used parts in JIM FINN...there should be no reason to really go elswhere with the exception of wear and tear items such as ignition, brakes, etc, and unless in search of mint/low miles, and or exceptional appearence items.

Oh, and by the way, YES, "michael" has relieved me of the privilege of bidding on the "COOLPARTS PAIR" auctions
