I have heard that a General Lee Dodge Charger recently sold on E-Bay. The price quoted was either 9 or 10 million, Must have been a typo, Don't see how two people in there right minds would bid this high. Anyone heard the real story on this??

Gosh it seems if someone had that much disposible income they could have gone to the Chandler Auction and not only bought somthing far more rare but a work of art as well!! The 04 Mercedes for example or the Mercer Raceabout but then that takes not only money but some class as well

Everyone who thinks the winning bidder had a thousandth of what he bid as disposable income, please take a step forward.

Everyone who thinks Schneider should have received the 3.5mil he expected please take a step back.

Don't knock it, you can claim that all the post war crap is were the "value" is and maybe get a better deal on some early good stuff. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

If something appears to be too good to be true, it probably is. Apparently the high bidder on the General Lee was just some shmo playing around on ebay, and has no intention of actually paying for the car. He did make some neat headlines though.
