Is there a specific club for electric vehicles? Is restoration info readily available? We are looking at a 1918 Baker Electric. I assume parts are difficult to come by ? Thanks!

If you look in their list of affiliated registries, the Horseless Carriage Club of America maintains an electric car registry. They seem to be quite active, and had a major tour of Kansas last year. At what voltage does a Detroit Electric operate? Does a Rauch and Lange operate at the same voltage? The real question is; Will a Rauch and Lange charger work for a Detroit Electric? Thanks! I am constantly amazed by the collective knowledge of AACA members.

As far as the charger goes if it is the same voltage the batteries won't know the difference. Electrics used different voltages depending how many batteries they had.

If you need a charger, or help with repairs, you might try a fork lift dealer. They work on electric fork lifts all the time and the old ones are not much different from an electric car.

Hi, we are an antique automoblie Restorers Association. We are working with each client individually and car. The cars restoring to original state. The missing details of manufacture according to the available knowledge. The parts don't sell, but is usually themselves looking for. It is also organize an antique car outings and exhibitions.(facebook / Ford model A 1930). Thanks for colleague Rusty_OToole,- battery and charger is ok, - new. No this B26 not selling.
